(ISO 100, f8 @ 25mm, 15sec., 23:10) This is the entrance area of the limestone mine of my previous upload. I never experienced a place which was so immersed in dust. The dust was everywhere. A fine dust which literally got inside of me. I wonder what it must be like in the day time when people are working in this place.

Three flood light poles and the moon
(ISO 100, f2.5 @ 25mm, 2,5sec., 22:32) This is the harbour of an open-pit limestone mine. In the distance you can see the chimneys of the old processing plant. It was late May and very slowly getting dark. While focusing I heard some strange noises from an animal in the distance. It turned out it was a single swan doing his rounds in the canal.

It is a replication made of wood and build for the movie “Der Baader Meinhof Komplex” about the German left-wing extremists group from the 70’s and the reaction of the German society around this.
