This is an image of the opposite direction of my previous uploaded. The main building here and there is an analytical laboratory of one of the biggest potash mines in the world. The mountain in the back is the slag heap of the mine. (ISO 100, f8 @ 30mm, 1/500sec., 14:12)

Quarry, Little Switzerland, Franconia
(ISO 400, f5.6 @ 25mm, 176sec., 21:27) This gravel quarry is more than 30 km from Nürnberg (the next bigger city), so hardly any light pollution here at all. Actually it was pitch dark and I did struggle a bit with frame and focusing. That little light from the bottom left side was from a small lamp not a flood light and the rest of it was from the moon.…

Dillingen, Saar, close by the motorway number 8
(ISO 200, f6.3 @ 35mm, 69sec., 21:52) It was pitch dark not like what you see in this image. I had to turn the car and move in a little into this empty place when my lights revealed these trailers. On the road to Leuna
