From Wuesteneutzsch to Schladebach
On my way back from the floodgate to the Autobahn to Berlin I came across this landscape with clouds. This is almost exactly the opposite side of the road from my image “Merseburger Strasse close to Schladebach”. I think I fell in love with the shadows of the clouds. Tell the clouds to leave me alone
(ISO 100, f8 @ 120mm, 1/500sec., 14:20) This is the slag heap of a potash mine. I don’t know what they will put on the billboard when it is finished but they will have plenty of things to say to the environment which is heavily contaminated by salt.

Diffenéstraße, Mannheim Luzenberg
(ISO 100, f7.1 @ 65mm, 1/3200sec., 14:37) I passed by this place on my tour through Mannheim and Ludwigshafen earlier this year. This is a sound studio and school for drummers. Couldn’t resist these shades of white.

Hamburg Peute
(ISO 100, f9 @ 70mm, 1/250sec., 14:39) This is a depot for building materials close to the river Elbe. The metal barrier in the center of the image protects the land from floods by the river. The trees are on the dike on the other side and the antennas belong to the Northern German Radio and TV network (NDR).
