From Wuesteneutzsch to Schladebach
On my way back from the floodgate to the Autobahn to Berlin I came across this landscape with clouds. This is almost exactly the opposite side of the road from my image “Merseburger Strasse close to Schladebach”. I think I fell in love with the shadows of the clouds. Floodgate Wuesteneutzsch
Uncompleted floodgate, roughly 20km south of the airport Leipzig. Planned in the 1930s and due to the war never been completed, it was supposed to be part of a canal connecting the two German rivers Elster and Saale.
