Happy digging
(ISO 50, f16 @ 30mm, 1/5sec., 12:22) I found this sand box with miniature dredgers for kids in between a medieval village and a space simulator in an adventure park. Nobody was interested in this little corner. I guess it will soon be replaced by something more profitable.

Diffenéstraße, Mannheim Luzenberg

Hamburg Peute
(ISO 100, f9 @ 70mm, 1/250sec., 14:39) This is a depot for building materials close to the river Elbe. The metal barrier in the center of the image protects the land from floods by the river. The trees are on the dike on the other side and the antennas belong to the Northern German Radio and TV network (NDR).

The oil shale slag heap next to the Messel Pit fossil site
