Ferropolis, Saxony-Anhalt

This place is located half way between Wittenberg and Dessau (the place of the Bauhaus since 1925) and it is a kind of open-air museum of open pit excavators from the mid-twentieth century.
I was allowed in for an evening and tried to capture the mood of this extraordinary place.
