Craftmen’s alley, Völklingen Ironworks

A look into the Handwerkergasse (craftmen’s alley) of the Völklinger Hütte which is one of the locations of the European Centre for Art and Industrial Culture and also a branch of the Saar Art School.
The old workshops have been turned into studios for art students today.

The inscription on the boat says:
“You who are climbing the deck on your own risk, behave as a worthy sailor and pay your respects to the boat.”
